Installation
This next-generation reader is designed for seamless integration with our advanced controller range, including the SDC-650 Multiple Door Controller, SDC-620 Wiegand Door Controller, and SDC-320 Wiegand Two Door Controller. It also supports connectivity with the SEB-722 Remote I/O Expansion Board.
Housed in a weather-resistant IP54-rated enclosure, the design features a clean clip-and-screw locking system, with the fixing point discreetly concealed underneath for a secure, professional, and visually clean installation.
Operation
When a user presents an access card or tag to the reader, the device captures the credential data and sends it to the door controller for verification against predefined access rules. The controller evaluates the request and returns the access decision. The reader then communicates the result to the user through LED indicators and an audible buzzer, providing clear real-time feedback on whether access is granted or denied.

Optional configuration: A specialised firmware variant is available on request, enabling configurable bitmasking to restrict card number lengths to 16, 24, or 32 bits. In this mode, reader addressing is limited to 0–9 only (available strictly by request).
