Installation

The Hikvision Pro Series Face Recognition Terminals are designed to seamlessly integrate with our controllers via a Wiegand/OSDP connection. These terminals also require an Ethernet connection to our SACS software for a comprehensive and efficient management of facial templates.

Operation

The Hikvision Face Recognition Terminal utilizes advanced facial recognition technology to identify and match the user’s face with its database.

When a user presents their face at the terminal, it transmits unique identifier number to the SACS door controller via Wiegand/OSDP for analysis based on predetermined access rules. The controller then determines the access permission, which is subsequently conveyed back to the Face Recognition Terminal. The terminal provides the appropriate feedback to the user through the use of an LCD display and buzzer signals, reflecting the determined access permission status.
